Our Founding Pillars

Authenticity

This means more to us than just high quality costumes. We view authenticity as, not only, character believability, but also proper casting, creating an immersive experience for everyone we meet, and most importantly-genuine and passionate performers.

Our Fairy Godmother spends hours each week on character design, new training, storylines, immersive experiences, and new ways for our characters to teach your little ones.

When you and your little one meet our characters, you will truly feel that your favorite character has come to life.

Affordability

Our goal is to provide the most magical experience possible at a rate that is reasonable for all of the hard working families across the kingdom.

Still, we know that sometimes we may not be in a price range that works for you- that’s why we work side by side with local companies and organizations to provide FREE or discounted character experiences at community events!

The most important thing Once Upon a Fairytale is being able to create affordable access to our magic so every child can meet their favorite character.

Accessibility

Our Fairy Godmother feels that operating a company that provides a safe space for performers of all backgrounds and abilities was as important as it was necessary.

This notion is not only for our cast members, but for the children who don't always see themselves in the media they are exposed to in their daily lives.

We feel everyone deserves to feel the magic that’s why we offer sensory friendly packages, Spanish speaking characters, as well as completely customizable packages for your little one.

The Story of The Castle

Once Upon a Fairy Tale was created by Erynn Weatherford on February 1, 2023. She wanted to create an outlet where all children can learn about self -empowerment and the important lessons of their favorite characters. Once Upon a Fairy Tale aims to not only create an experience for children, but also to inspire adults to remember the magic of their childhood.

Additionally, She felt that creating a company that provided a safe space for performers of all backgrounds and abilities was as important as it was necessary. This notion was not only for the cast, but for the children who don't always see themselves in the media they are exposed to. OUAF believes accessibility is a right, not a luxury. The aim of the company as a whole is to bring magic to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
